REAL………

I was off living life when it just hit me….. the beauty of authenticity.

I don’t have to impress ANYONE. We tend to focus so much on what other people will think. But WHY?! After I thought about this for a few seconds I just felt an overwhelming sense of relief, because for the first time in my life I realized I could just live. Free of the pressures of the world, I felt a newness about my outlook on life and I was LOVING IT.

I was free….free to live how I really wanted to live, and I didn’t have to worry about what one person thought about that. So that being said, I have seen the beauty of being real beyond measure recently, and its changing the way I do everyday life. I hope to share that with each one of you.

Life is far from perfect, and I’m just trying to live well and figure it out day by day. I mess up and fall short ALL THE TIME (bear with me), but I find rest in knowing that God’s power is made perfect in my weakness.

2 Corinthians 12:9

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

So this is me living out 2 Corinthians 12:9. Boasting about my weaknesses, so that people like you will catch a glimpse of the power of God. If you’re looking for a highlight real of me living out my best days, I’m sorry you’ve come to the wrong place. But…..if you want to see real posts celebrating the good, the bad, and the ugly moments of life, then this is the blog for you.

Will I often bless you with profound theological statements that blow your mind, and change your entire perspective on life……..hmmm sorry folks probably not…. but I do promise to willingly pour out my heart and soul to all you lovely people in hopes that God’s glory would be evident.

So grab a cup of coffee, put on your pjs, and pull up a seat cause things are about to get REAL.
